The vacancy of Dr. N. Janardhana Reddy from
Andhra Pradesh occurred in the State of undivided Andhra Pradesh on 9th
May, 2014 by reason of his death. After bifurcation of the undivided Andhra
Pradesh into Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in terms of Andhra Pradesh
Reorganization Act-2014, the said seat has been allocated to Adhra Pradesh(new)
as per the Notification No. RS. 73/2014-T, dated 30th May, 2014
issued by the Secretariat of Rajya Sabha.
The
